Smart checkpoint: comprehensive time tracking with alcohol and temperature monitoring

It's important to us that every employee feels protected and that the work environment remains safe and responsible. As part of our ongoing development of enterprise security and automation solutions, we developed and implemented the unique timekeeping terminal T11A with integrated contactless temperature control and breathalyzer functions.

The project combined three essential production processes in a single device:

Employee identification

Automatic time-keeping

Rapid medical screening (alcohol and temperature)

The result is a ready-made, comprehensive solution that is already in use at companies across various industries, enhancing security, discipline, and objectivity.

The entire screening cycle takes just 7 seconds. The employees tap their access control system card at the reader. The terminal identifies the employees, prompts them to take a breathalyzer test, and simultaneously measures their temperature. The results are instantly recorded, linked to a timestamp, and synchronized with the server. If necessary, the device prints a sticker for admission.

If alcohol vapor or abnormal body temperature is detected, the responsible person (manager or security) receives an automatic notification for prompt action.

The accuracy of measurements is guaranteed by Ministry of Health certification (RU: RZN 2025/24990). Photo and video recording are used in conjunction with alcohol and temperature monitoring, ensuring maximum security and enabling the generation of legally binding reports containing identification data, time of recording, and test results. All events are automatically saved and synchronized with the server.

The project’s main technical advantage

Is its unique breathalyzer funnel with a side air outlet.

This is our own development, patented in the State Register of Utility Models of the Russian Federation. Unlike traditional models, where exhaled air can be returned to the user’s face, our solution directs the main flow for analysis by the sensor, while the excess is expelled through a special channel. This completely eliminates the backflow of potentially contaminated particles, simplifies disinfection, and eliminates the need for disposable accessories. Furthermore, the additional side channel opens up the possibility of expanding functionality, such as collecting additional exhalation parameters.

Our solution has already been evaluated by hundreds of enterprises. It is ideal for medium and large companies requiring strict access control and personnel status, as well as for companies with remote branches. The solution is easily scalable and can integrate an unlimited number of terminals.

The system is easy to install and ergonomic (measuring just 267 x 178 x 49 mm and weighing 2 kg). It can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall anywhere at the entrance. It easily integrates with the company’s existing infrastructure and requires no IT or technical support. A powerful battery ensures autonomous operation of the terminal, allowing for testing even during power and network outages.
